There are numerous ways you can help New Beginnings help others. Our survivors need and appreciate your help, whether you volunteer, donate, or participate in our fundraising events. Learn more below.

Volunteer

Volunteers are the fundamental strength of New Beginnings. We are always looking for people with a desire to provide support services to survivors or to help with other aspects of our organization.

Volunteers are needed for the following:

• 24-hour Crisis Line Coverage
• Accompaniment to hospitals, police stations, and courtrooms
• Crisis Counseling
• Community Education Programs
• General Office Help
• Fundraisers and Special Events
• Board Members
• Monetary Donations

Volunteers must be at least 20 years old. We provide training – an extensive training course is required, as well as occasional courses to maintain qualified volunteer status.

We also look to volunteers to help with advocacy packets, Laundry of Love kits, education programs and our public relations.
